# Pay Invoice

client.Accounts.PayInvoice.New(ctx, params) (\*[PayInvoiceNewResponse](https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/go/resources/accounts#%28resource%29%20accounts.pay%5Finvoice%20%3E%20%28model%29%20PayInvoiceNewResponse%20%3E%20%28schema%29), error)

POST/accounts/{account\_id}/pay-invoice

Pays an outstanding invoice for an account. Returns a Stripe client secret when Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is required to complete the payment.

Body param: The identifier of the invoice to pay.

PaymentMethodID param.Field\[string\]Optional

Body param: The payment method to use. If omitted, the default payment method is used.

ValidatePaymentMethod param.Field\[bool\]Optional

Body param: Whether to validate the payment method before processing.
