# Mute participants of an active session

client.RealtimeKit.ActiveSession.MuteParticipants(ctx, appID, meetingID, params) (\*[ActiveSessionMuteParticipantsResponse](<https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/go/resources/realtime_kit#(resource)%20realtime_kit.active-session%20%3E%20(model)%20ActiveSessionMuteParticipantsResponse%20%3E%20(schema)>), error)

POST/accounts/{account\_id}/realtime/kit/{app\_id}/meetings/{meeting\_id}/active-session/mute

Mutes one or more participants from an active session using user ID or custom participant ID.
