# Pay Bad Debt

accounts.pay\_bad\_debt.create(PayBadDebtCreateParams\*\*kwargs)  \-> [PayBadDebtCreateResponse](https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/python/resources/accounts#%28resource%29%20accounts.pay%5Fbad%5Fdebt%20%3E%20%28model%29%20pay%5Fbad%5Fdebt%5Fcreate%5Fresponse%20%3E%20%28schema%29)

POST/accounts/{account\_id}/pay-bad-debt

Pays outstanding bad debt for an account. Discovers all debt automatically and handles invoice deduplication.

The preferred authorization scheme for interacting with the Cloudflare API. [Create a token](https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/api/get-started/create-token/).

API Email + API Key

The previous authorization scheme for interacting with the Cloudflare API, used in conjunction with a Global API key.
