# Pay Invoice

accounts.pay\_invoice.create(PayInvoiceCreateParams\*\*kwargs)  \-> [PayInvoiceCreateResponse](https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/python/resources/accounts#%28resource%29%20accounts.pay%5Finvoice%20%3E%20%28model%29%20pay%5Finvoice%5Fcreate%5Fresponse%20%3E%20%28schema%29)

POST/accounts/{account\_id}/pay-invoice

Pays an outstanding invoice for an account. Returns a Stripe client secret when Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is required to complete the payment.

The previous authorization scheme for interacting with the Cloudflare API, used in conjunction with a Global API key.

Identifier

invoice\_id: Optional\[str\]

The identifier of the invoice to pay.

payment\_method\_id: Optional\[str\]

The payment method to use. If omitted, the default payment method is used.

validate\_payment\_method: Optional\[[bool](https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/python/resources/accounts/subresources/pay%5Finvoice/methods/create#%28resource%29%20accounts.pay%5Finvoice%20%3E%20%28method%29%20create%20%3E%20%28params%29%20default%20%3E%20%28param%29%20validate%5Fpayment%5Fmethod%20%3E%20%28schema%29)\]

Whether to validate the payment method before processing.
