# Create Spend Policy

billing.spend\_policies.create(SpendPolicyCreateParams\*\*kwargs) -> [SpendPolicyCreateResponse](<https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/python/resources/billing#(resource)%20billing.spend_policies%20%3E%20(model)%20spend_policy_create_response%20%3E%20(schema)>)

POST/accounts/{account\_id}/billing/spend-policies

Creates a spend policy. Each account can have only one enabled `usage_block` policy per product. A second one returns `409`. There is no limit on `notification` policies.
