# Delete a specific account

client.accounts.delete(AccountDeleteParams { account\_id } params, RequestOptionsoptions?): [AccountDeleteResponse](https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/typescript/resources/accounts#%28resource%29%20accounts%20%3E%20%28model%29%20account%5Fdelete%5Fresponse%20%3E%20%28schema%29) { id } | null

DELETE/accounts/{account\_id}

Delete a specific account (only available for tenant admins at this time). This is a permanent operation that will delete any zones or other resources under the account

##### Security

API Email + API Key

The previous authorization scheme for interacting with the Cloudflare API, used in conjunction with a Global API key.

**Example:**`X-Auth-Email: user@example.com`
