# Get mTLS certificate

GET/accounts/{account\_id}/mtls\_certificates/{mtls\_certificate\_id}

Fetches a single mTLS certificate uploaded to your account. To get a certificate issued by the Cloudflare managed CA, use the [Client Certificate Details endpoint](https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/resources/client%5Fcertificates/methods/get/).

The preferred authorization scheme for interacting with the Cloudflare API. [Create a token](https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/api/get-started/create-token/).

API Email + API Key

The previous authorization scheme for interacting with the Cloudflare API, used in conjunction with a Global API key.

The previous authorization scheme for interacting with the Cloudflare API. When possible, use API tokens instead of Global API keys.

Identifier.

Identifier.

Identifier.

ca?: boolean

Indicates whether the certificate is a CA or leaf certificate.

certificates?: string

The uploaded root CA certificate.

expires\_on?: string

When the certificate expires.

formatdate-time

issuer?: string

The certificate authority that issued the certificate.

name?: string

Optional unique name for the certificate. Only used for human readability.

serial\_number?: string

The certificate serial number.

signature?: string

The type of hash used for the certificate.

type?: "custom" | "gateway\_managed" | "access\_managed"

The type of the certificate, indicating how it was created and who manages it.

One of the following:

"custom"

"gateway\_managed"

"access\_managed"

uploaded\_on?: string

This is the time the certificate was uploaded.
